I told you about a banana soft serve recipe that would be life changing, and many of you have written in saying that it is–hands down–the most amazing thing you have made in a long time. Now, I bring you the breakfast cookie that might just have the same effect.
I’ve told you about Gina, the fabulous fitness guru behind the blog Fitnessista, a blog I love and check in on all the time for healthy eating inspiration. Well, I have to tell you about her recipe for no-bake breakfast cookies.
Gina’s Amazing Breakfast Cookie
Recipe adapted for Vitamin G, courtesy of Fitnessista from Glamour.com
Ingredients:
1/3 cup oats
1 tablespoon of nut butter (almond, peanut, whatever–pick your fave!)
A sprinkling of protein powder such as Designer Whey (note: this is optional)
1/8 cup of soy milk or milk (or almond milk or whatever you like)
1/2 cup of optional add ins (ideas: mashed bananas, canned pumpkin, apple sauce)
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
Optional: A sprinkling of something sweet, like a little sugar, agave or honey (Gina uses stevia)
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients together, then put the “dough” on a plate and form into a flat, round shape. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. It will harden slightly from the nut butter and the oats will soften from the milk. In the morning, grab a spoon and enjoy!

P90X 2 Revealed!

Here is all the latest information about P90X2.  This was taken from a Webinar with Tony Horton, Steve Edwards (director of results since 2001),and the Beachbody team.  I set this up as kinda a question and answer format, so keep reading and your P90X2 questions might be answered.  Below you will find out pricing for the 3 P90X2 kits, and info on how to pre-ordering P90X2.  You will also see what comes with P90X2 and what you need to purchase in order to get all 14 dvds.  Release date is set for Mid December, but you will need to Pre-Order in order to guarantee delivery by that date.

How does if differ from P90X, Insanity, and Asylum?

What is P.A.P. Training?
– Post Activatoin Potentiation
– Doing a weighted resistance exercise prior to an explosive one can increase the amount of power produced by conditioned individuals.  Very counter-intuitive than how we normally train.  In conditioned athletes, “loading ” a muscle actually activates “muscle cell motor units” and makes you be able to lift more weight or explode more.  You have a short window after the resistance exercise to make you perform better and make you feel like a kid.  The “complexes” are put together to take advantage of this.  Marcus Elliott helped to refine this and brought it to P90X2.

How to Bring It Again: Introductory DVD that teaches you how to bring it while doing P90X2
X2 Core:  This is a new version of Core Synergistics.  Total body workout with balance and stability focus.
Plyocide:  Plyometrics taken to the next level.  Lateral movements have been added this time.
X2 Recovery + Mobility:  Foam rolling and stretching to help aid recovery.
X2 Total Body:  Total body workout that it’s up every single body part.  You will do a little bit of everything in this one.
X2 Yoga:  60 mins of Yoga this time.  Emphasis on the moving exercises.
Balance + Power:  This combines balance move with strength moves, very tough…trust me, I have done it during rehearsals.

Base & Back:   Combines Plyometric leg exercises with Pull ups.  2 of the largest muscle groups in your body.
PAP Lower:  The new scientific sports training that is designed to focus on performance.Strength moves followed by explosive moves to make you explode.
PAP UpperThe new scientific sports training that is designed to focus on performance.  Strength moves followed by explosive moves to make you explode.

Welcome to Today! What are you doing to make a difference!

 So many exciting things going on right now. I am officially leaving for Chicago tomorrow evening!!!  I cannot wait!! It’s going to be a great team bonding experience, a chance to grow my business and LIVE MY PASSION!
It never ceases to amaze me how different your life is when you start living with PURPOSE!! Time is even more PRECIOUS! There aren’t enough hours in the day and my mind is CONSTANTLY running on overdrive with ideas. The paychecks have been absolutely incredible and I still can’t believe that I get PAID to do something I am so in love with. It’s true…if you do what you love…you’ll never work a day in your life.
